Marta is an HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) Registered Clinical Psychologist and Health Psychologist that also holds chartered status and title CPsychol with BPS (British Psychology Society) together with membership in Division of Clinical Psychology and Division of Health Psychology. Also, she is a Registered Psychotherapist and Counsellor with BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy), an Approved Supervisor with PTUK, and a member of BABCP (British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies).

Experience
Marta has an extensive experience as a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) lead, line manager, international clinical supervisor, author, international CPD trainer, invited graduate and post-graduate lecturer for faculties and universities, as well as an active member of various professional organisations. From 2004, Marta started gaining her applied clinical experience in mental health care working with children & young people, their parents and families. From 2013, she started working with adults as well.
Marta is particularly skilled at working with a plethora of issues, life stressors, illness and disorders. She has a vast experience in supporting healthy adjustment and adaptation, procedural distress, strengthening existing and building new coping skills (especially coping with pain), adherence to treatment and improving the quality of life. Marta also has an extensive experience working with dying children, young people and their parents and families as well with the adults (grief and bereavement).
Alongside providing clinical and health psychology services in private practice, Marta serves as a Clinical Health Psychologist within the Paediatric Liaison Team at the Royal London Hospital (NHS). Previously she served as a MDT lead, clinical psychologist and health psychologist at the Children’s Hospital Zagreb.

Marta was the professional team member (neuropsychologist) of the first Croatian and regional MDT for Awake Craniotomy at the University Hospital Centre “Sisters of Charity” in Zagreb.
Philanthropy
Giving back to community is something Marta truly believes in. In addition to her own mission, she believes in missions of others. From the founding in 2011, Marta is collaborating with the Croatian charity “Love in Action” through different roles. She is currently a member of the Executive Board and a volunteer. This charity offers help and support to children with cancer and their families.
From 2012 Marta was a mentor on a special project “Let me Tell You a Story” whose mission was to improve the quality of life of children with cancer through storytelling, therapeutic stories and drama. The project staff started supporting larger group of chronically ill children and in 2014 the project transformed into a charity named “Centre Talk to Me”. The mission of nowadays “Centre Talk to Me” is to provide psychosocial support to children, young people and parents through creative, educational and therapeutic resources with the aim of improving the quality of their lives.
